Ohh
Al ready am waiting so long fustrating buddy,, first the employer try to do the paper work on his own.... Unfortunatly he cant do it.. Now he hired an agent to do the stuff
If the job in short list occupation can i hope good news come after 14 weeks ????
Or it depends on the officer who look after the papers

Actually mine took a little bit longer. I have seen someone got approved in 12 weeks. I have seen the on some provinces they have stopped giving information on the dates that are currently processing as I think more people are just getting frustrated if they are getting different dates from different person in the office. Ive'd been on the same on the same situation and yes it can get frustrating at some times even my employer feels the same but I think the only thing we can do is to make sure that all the documents and requirements are submitted properly then we'll just wait for the result. It would take longer if they would be asking for some more requirements so better make sure it's accurate and complete.

Hi
Thx for reply again
As i told u before the employer want every thing should be perfect and dont want some thing gose wrong. Thats the reason he hired the agent. He is saying the agents succes rate is 85%
Lets hope
Now i feel no matter it took little more longer as long as i get a +ve LMO

Hello guys,

do i need LMO if i want to hire a nanny who is already in Canada working for another employer?

Thanks

Hi,

Got some great news today, got my LMO approved!!! Just to let people know my processing time was 6 weeks in total.
I know this is quicker than normal and I think this happened due to the fact that the company I will be working for submitted a letter with the application asking for it to be expedited due to the fact it was my second application and needed me in canada urgently.

Hey, that's great news! Congrats!!

It also gives me some hope as my potential employer is resubmitting the LMO application this week. They will be including a cover letter stating the issue for denial the first time has been remedied. (denied because the job description on Job Bank did not exactly match what the employer put on the application. a small mistake which was totally unintentional)

Do you mind saying why it was denied the first time?

Actually, I just went and read your older posts so I see why it was denied the first time. My employer also did not have my name on it the first time but will do so this time. I see though, that there is no advantage to this. Hopefully it will work out this time!!

Again, congratulations to you! I can imagine how excited you must feel. :)

My LMO was denied first time due to the fact that they did not submit my salary on the application. I am sure your application will be sorted positively if they have ironed out the problems with the first one.

Hope you get a positive outcome

Antony

Having your name on the LMO doesnt really make that much of a difference, it only speeds the process up by about a week.

Good luck with your app

Antony

Congrats to Antony and good luck to wide open spaces. Lets see if week 17 is my lucky week.

hi all,
is there anyone who submitted the LMO app in Nov 2011 and still waiting?? ???

Our hotel, The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, said they applied last Aug 2011. And still no news, positive or negative or whatever. My 90 days is expiring soon. I'm going to be forced to leave the country soon.

g,

Thanks. And I hope this week is your week for good news too!!

rebelthunder,

If the employer hasn't been in contact with Service Canada I would hope they do so. Applying in August and still no news just doesn't sound right. Good luck to you!

Congrats Antony17 !!!!

Can you tell me the procedure to expedite the LMO. I have kind of similar situation.

Does it cost more ? What documents we need to submit.

Thanks in advance for help

can3x8,

There isn't actually an expedited option. But sending a cover letter stating that the issue for denial the first time has been remedied might help. Service Canada told my employer that the application *may* be looked at sooner if a letter of explanation is submitted. Good luck to you!

Thank you so much !!!

Will it help to tell them that we have applied for PR and have received amour medical request?
