lmo approved in one week

hi guys i dont know how it happened but my boss applied for a new lmo in her name and they approved it in less than a week. I was employed by her husband to take care of him and his child but he passed away and immigration informed me that i was unable to continue working cuz my employer is dead and that his wife would have to file for a a new lmo stating she as my employer. she did this with a cover letter attached saying that her husband died and she needs a caregiver immediately cuz she has to go back to work and that her daughter is familiar with me as i have been with them for two yrs and she wants to keep me as her caregiver. they called her today and told her they have approved the application and will mail the form tomorrow and that all i need to do is let immigration do the necessary changes.

i just want to encourage everyone applying for an lmo to let their employer attach a cover letter with the application because that apparantly makes a difference in how soon they will process the documents.

what happened to your LMO application is formality of changing the name of applicant of LMO but still the same employer. what makes it more faster is humanitarian and compassion ground due to a death happened and the one to take care has an immediate need. i think when same employer applying for a continuation of services and LMO is needed is much faster vs. initial lmo application.
