I have received an approved LMO now for one of the NOC and and my WP extension is in process. I have applied for PR in 2010( per june). The PR application is in process and the long wait is never ending!

My question is below.

The LMO approval that I got is for a different NOC and my PR application in process is for a different NOC.
1. Do you think my PR processing will be faster now if I send the new LMO approval letter?
2. Will they consider this as an arranged employment?
3. Will different NOC would be a problem?

Kindly advice.

I am in the same situation. My PR is being processed based on a different NOC, and my AEO job offer is for a different NOC.
Should I update, or will it cause any conflict.
In my opinion, it will not cause any conflict, as people may work in different (but related) NOCs. They do not necessarily have to work on one NOC only.
I know many people who applied for PR and got it, and they have work experience points for different NOCs.

If I update my application with me new AEO (although it is for a different but similar NOC), i think it may help my application to get it processed faster.

Same I think for your LMO approval.

Seniors please suggest.

Check the OP Manuals, but I think your application is based on the documents you originally submitted and wouldn't change the points by the addition of an AEO. If it is an O/A/B Noc job, you may be able to apply under a PNP programme instead and that MAY be faster in the long run. You can leave both applications running and they will ask you to drop one when it gets to the "decision time".

Thanks for the response. I have got my approval in July and my WP is still in progress. I'm still unsure if I need to send them the approved LMO to get the processing faster.

Can anybody please confirm on this?

What I was trying to say in my last post is that you cannot "add" to your FSW application once you have applied. An FSW1 cannot become an FSW2 (with an AEO), you would have to reapply for that to happen. What I am not sure of is whether you have applied for PR under FSW or the PNP and I am assuming it is FSW by your post on this section.

I saw one of the post earlier here( i do not have the post now) mentioning that one applicant who was in Canada Work permit has sent the LMO and WP to VO and they send them the Medicals in 2 weeks. That is one of the reason why I'm thinking in that direction. The only chances that they can consider is that we are already in Canada now and have an job offer or skill which is not easily available in Canada. Just thinking positive!

I'll bet you that person was from a visa exempt country, in which case they would be able to come to the border with the LMO and get the work permit at the time of entry into Canada.
