Thanks! But do you know why my file was sent to verification department? They told that this verification is not for all applications. I'm worried after landing process is completed, why there is a again verification on my file before PR card is issued.

Please go to Embassy and ask the status. You might need to make frequent visits to embassy to get this done. Tatkal means there is a delay. Mine is 6th month going, but your case might be different.

if everything went fine and he got Visa stamped along with COPR, will the security guys in the border ask for these details? like older work permit or notice of assessment.

Please check with your local police station in India. Check if they got the verification request. You might need to pay something to get it done from India fast.
