hello everyone,

I got a simple question: if an applicant want to be the main applicant (due to their age) BUT their spouse gets LMIA, do they still get the 200 points to their profile ??
and if yes where does it say that?
Because in the CRS calculator it does not ask if your spouse has an LMIA, Can anyone help ???

Thank you!

Has to be the primary applicant.

A spouse applying with an LMIA is an application by the spouse as the main applicant given the LMIA is based on the spouse alone qualifying not any dependant.

are you saying that to be eligible for an LMIA, one must not have any dependents ???

please clarify because the way you written that paragraph is a bit confusing please
thank you!

Yes - they can certainly try.
