My processing was St. John in NB. From what I remember, it took about 3 months.

I'm in Calgary Alberta and my NOC is 0631

Hi,
Our LMIA was processed in St. John.
We got positive LMIA in 30 business day.
2015.Aug.17-2015.09.24
NOC 7237,dual intent,Toronto,inside Canada.
Good luck.

There are some other topic about LMIA. The processing time depends on your NOC, which privince is yours, and you are inside or outside of Canada.

Mine was submitted by my future employer on 10th July I am waiting outside Canada it's been 15 weeks so far.
Mine is also a named lmia application.

My was sent on 16th June and my employer is in BC. I am outside of Canada for NOC - 1225.

Still waiting and no news.

I wonder if Named lmias take longer?

When my lmia got approved, it was unnamed and i went to the border with documents, employer contract, education certificates, resume etc and they granted me my permit.

They told me it's handled exactly the same way it's just when it comes to issuing the positive lmia there is no extra delays in asking name etc after getting positive answer. SC already have the details to put on LMIA.
I will need contract, positive lmia and my trade and industry acceptance letter at POE.

They told me that the other lmia they have applied for hasn't had any news either just file number.

Hi Sunshinegirl,

May be we should get in touch and talk about our cases. I am eagerly waiting too and my entire life is on hold right now.

If interested, let me know and we can exchange contacts.

I am in India.

Thanks and best wishes!!
