I wonder if Named lmias take longer?Sunshinegirl_X said:Mine was submitted by my future employer on 10th July I am waiting outside Canada it's been 15 weeks so far.
Mine is also a named lmia application.
They told me it's handled exactly the same way it's just when it comes to issuing the positive lmia there is no extra delays in asking name etc after getting positive answer. SC already have the details to put on LMIA.jaybakerca said:I wonder if Named lmias take longer?
When my lmia got approved, it was unnamed and i went to the border with documents, employer contract, education certificates, resume etc and they granted me my permit.
Agreee!!! This lumbo is just too frustrating!!! Feels like everything is on hold and can't do anything!!!!!caprisj said:Hi Sunshinegirl,
May be we should get in touch and talk about our cases. I am eagerly waiting too and my entire life is on hold right now.
If interested, let me know and we can exchange contacts.
I am in India.
Thanks and best wishes!!
Try being in Limbo for over 1 year. I was offered a job August last year it's a long story but I left UK to wait it out in Germany with my mother-in-law thinking it would be 3-4 months and I have been here 1 year now. started working back in July as I was fed up waitingruby13 said:Agreee!!!
