LMIA Query

Hi All,

Need some advice please.

My Canadian employer submitted an application for an LMIA on the 19th of February 2020; 7 weeks later the ESDC returned the application form due to a minor error.

ESDC agreed for them to amend the error and resubmit the form given the current circumstances.

The issue is that the job can no longer be advertised on Canada job bank website as it exceeded 120 days, as the job was originally advertised on 20/12/19. It is advertised on 2 other websites.

My employer is hopeful that it should satisfy the requirements for the LMIA.

Any thoughts?

You keep saying employer but have you worked yet or is this a future employer? Are you licensed to work an MD in Canada. That would make a big difference in determining if you may qualify for faster processing.
