Without an LMIA or an EE PNP, the maximum score you can obtain is 600 out of 1,200.
No, PGWP entitles you working in Canada without LMIA (until expiry date of course). But all that work pursuing LMIA will all be in vain.cecorpnp said:Curious to know how can negative LMIA affect the person working on PGWP
If someone is working on PGWP(open work permit) and his/hers LMIA gets declined for the current job does he/she need to quit the job? or they can still continue to work with no LMIA on PGWP basis?
There is no ENTRY jobs in NOC 0,A,B. So if you have a degree you are not supposed to look for 'entry jobs". However, neither you not any CANADIAN will ever get $43/hr right after graduation.malik786 said:is it true to get a positive LMIA:
The employers need to show that they are paying the employee above median wage for the particular job and location.
for example:
I am a new grad i am getting $29 / hour for NOC 2173 in Ottawa, however the median for NOC 2173 is $43/ hour in Ottawa.
if this is true i would never get a positive LMIA
How are new graduates (working on PGWP) supposed to get LMIA because any entry level job is not gonna pay you at median.
so no positive LMIA, no 600 points.
