Hi ,

i am kinda new to this section . i have send my application under CEC on December and rumors are that my application will be sent back to me because the global cap was reached on October 20,2014. i am here on a closed work permit and i came here on an Intra Company Transfer.

in understand that LMIA carries 600 points for the express entry but i also read somewhere that an intra compnay transfer is LMIA exempt.

Could someone clarify this please?

Regards,
Savio

My friend sent his CEC paper application after Christmas 2014 and when EE kicked in on 1 Jan he did created EE profile with LMIA and got the ITA.

Hi Mate,

I am also in same situation, not finding the way from where I can get the LIMA document/approval etc.. Me too on the same Intra-company transfer program in Canada. I am not sure who will provide us the LIMA document etc.

Please guide step by step to get the LMIA.

Thanks

Your employer has to obtain the LMIA. This isn't something you can do. Your employer can start by reading here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

Rephrasing question -

I was there in Canada on WP (intra company transfer) , I was traveled back to my Country; I am eligible for EE.. but points are low to CIC pickup me from pool.

To increase it I need LMIA , and wanted to know how to get it..

Thanks.

currently only two path : get a new work permit with LMIA . or . apply PNP , ( btw : ontario PNP for EE is not ready, website say it is developing, who know when it will be ok, maybe they limit some occupation )

To clarify, you worked in Canada (how long, which NOC or skill level OAB?) and have now returned home? Is your company sending you back to work in Canada again or are you hoping to get an LMIA to cover work you DID already? Intracompany jobs do not require job advertising and proof that a local couldn't be found which makes it easier for you to come to work in Canada in the first place. That is why an LMIA is not required for intracompany transfers.
I am not an expert, but if you have a full year of full time Canadian employment couldn't you use that to apply for CEC through the EE stream?

I worked more than 1 year Full time with noc2171 - now am at back home and left the current company who sent me to CA.

Now I want to apply for PR (once my ielts done this month) - LMIA carries 600 points so wanted to know how can I get that //

also question - you hoping to get an LMIA to cover work you DID already? -- could you please elaborate more / am not getting it completely.

you can apply for CEC through EE stream with your 1+ year of experience. But my understanding is that without LMIA you wouldn't get 600 points, and without those 600 points, you wouldn't rank very high in the pool (which have a lot of competition). Infra-company transfers don't necessarily require LMIA. So you can't do anything unless you find an employer(or same employer) who is willing to do LMIA for you. LMIA won't be done for past work.

please suggest on to get the employer ... any job site / job back ... ( before applying to EE.. )

Aj355 summed it up for me. You can't get an LMIA for past work, but I wasn't sure if that was what you were
asking.

unless you find an employer(or same employer) who is willing to do LMIA ---> how to find new employer before applying EE , any job site / portal ?

just frantic search in internet, through friends in the community etc. That's what I did and came across one who was ready to do LMIA. I consider it sheer luck + extensive effort of day and night search. Search across Canada and be ready to relocate if you find an employer. If you are in Canada still hopeful. But once out of here chances are minimal. Sorry I sounded harsh, but just wanted to be truthful of the reality.
