LMIA Exempt Work permit

Hi for the person who received the job offer, I am in the same boat expect I am now applying for jobs, how did you apply getting a work permit with your employer?

Hi Mayub,

I am in the same boat as you. I applied for BOWP and it got refused as I did not have the AOR now I am waiting for that. In the meantime I am stating as a visitor. My question is can we the work permit once we get the AOR. The closed LMIA exempt work permit is another option we have as I have seen through the thread. I have also received my nomination under Ontario International masters stream. It would be nice if we keep contact as we are in the same situation. Thanks send me a msg. Take care

This is usually the letter of support issued by the nominating province.

Given the other details you mentioned in your post - unfortunately you may not be able to obtain this. See below:


As of June 20, 2015:
Due to Federal level changes to the issuance of temporary work permits, as of June 20th, 2015, OINP no longer has the authority to issue support letters for open work permits. This only applies to nominees in streams under the Human Capital Category and includes all streams that do not require a job offer.

OINP Masters Stream is listed as under the Human Capital Category.

Hi

Can you please tell that after getting the screen of document submission, the employer compliance fee document is showing as an optional document so still do we need to get that compliance fee??
I am on pgwp and working with the company from one year and i have employee restricted nomination and i will apply for close work permit but confused about that optional document of employer compliance fee...do i still need to get that even if its optional?
