LMIA duration for CEC application?

I am preparing to ask my employer for an LMIA.
I am wondering what is the minimum time period the LMIA should be for, Is it just until my PR is approved?
I see on the CIC website it states that for the federal Skilled Worker programme it is a minimum of one year, is it the same for the CEC?

Sorry, I don't have any knowledge regarding the time period. But I have also asked my employer to apply for LMIA. I have pgwp expiring next year. Have you started the process? Thanx
