When my employer got an interview call , They said they were going to close down the office in few days. So I am guessing there would be a delay due to Covid - 19. I hope you get it soon. Good luck!

Unfortunately no , Only the employer can call and ask for status. Have you tried asking your employer?
In this case the application was send by Mail not online .
Also what next step has been in your case
All LMIA applications are sent by mail. There is no option of online.
I will be applying for work permit with an approved LMIA

In an effort to mitigate processing delays they will also accelerate the process to change the foreign worker named on an LMIA. The standard of five business days to change the name has been reduced to one day. Such a measure would be required if the employer needed to hire a different foreign worker from the one they originally put on the LMIA request.
