Hello guys. I'm on a open work permit and my status expires in May .l am looking for an LMIA to ext5my stay and hopefully apply PR. I have expirience in food service and a BA degree also.lf you know any lawyer that can help , please. .

Hello guys, I have submitted my LMIA application on 30th Nov, 2019 but my employer haven't receive any info after. Does anyone know how long it will take?

My girlfriend and I have applied LMIA since SEP 2019, there is no update until now.

Location: BC
Submitting on 4th Sep 2019, application received on 9th Sep 2019.
Fee deducted on 31st OCT 2019

I thought the application take 3 months only because my colleague did the same process last year.
Currently, I lost my status because I received the wp refuse email yesterday.
It mentioned that I have 90days to do the restoration.
However, I need to do that with the Positive LMIA result.

My girlfriend did the same process 2 weeks later than me but she has not received any wp refuse email.
But I believe that she will have the same problem 2 to 3 weeks later.

That's a nightmare for us. Both of us cannot work until getting the new wp.

What should we do if the worse case happens, which is both of us cannot receive the positive LMIA before the 90 days ended?
Should we apply for a visitor visa and back to our home country while waiting?
Is it harder to get a wp outland?
If it happens, could I get back to Canada with the visitor visa and apply the new wp inland?

updating from my application....

The officer called my employer this morning to notice that they made the decision, and it is POSITIVE. She will send over the letter shortly today via email. It is so fast and my employer describes she is such a sweet and very reasonable officer!!

I will update my entry express profile and wait for the next draw next week.!!

below is my timeline:

Hello,
Do you have an email that we can contact?

I'm about to apply for LMIA PR Support but my case is a bit different.

Here is a summary:

I'm on PGWP. I have worked for my current employer for over a year. They want to apply for LMIA PR Support but they don't meet the advertising requirements and they only have those in the past.

Are you able to list what your employer include in the application?

They have to post ads and meet requirements for this position before applying for LMIA

Hello everyone,
My employer applied for Lmia to support my EE file but hasnt received anything yet. Service Canada says that no officer has been assigned. Is it normal to have that long waiting period or is there something wrong over here?

Applied: August 2019
Location: BC

If anyone has any information please share.
