Hello guys,
I am in PGWP in canada and willing to apply through LMIA.
I am so confused of where to start and look for information.
I tried cic website and I been doing research but I am not sure if I am in the right track.

Umm... do I need to know if I am high wage or low wage? Then based on my wage I can apply under that stream?

Also how do I know if I am low or high wage?

Please help .. thanks.

High wage is above the provincial average in your occupation, low wage is under that. You should check that first and compare with your salary. Your employer has to advertise the job first, and then they can apply for LMIA.

In Case of LMIA It is your employer, who needs to apply for It. He needs to advertise your position on Job bank. Keep It for a month than collect all resumes and support his decision to employee you and explain that he couldn't find a canadian for this position. Than if goverment will accept LMIA you can apply for a work permit Or if this was only to support your permament residency for PR.
Below is an instruction on CIC:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/hire/offers.asp

And to find.out if you are low Or high wagę you need to check your NOC number and if It falls Under 0,A Or B than you are high wage/skilled.

Noc B is for a skilled position so you are good to go with LMIA
Thanks. I am already working for the same employee for a year and half now. Will be that a problem ?

Also another question please. I get paid $16 / hour but that's under the minimum wage in ontario according to cic website .. and you told me if I am under noc B that means I am in high wage stream
I am kinda confused

Thanks mate
