Employer applied for LMIA in dec 18, money was taken Jan 19...still waiting, anyone know how long LMIA's for high wage stream are taking to process in Alberta?

What position was your employer applying to fill. The unemployment rate in Alberta may be slowing the application. With high unemployment, IRCC will want to ensure that there really aren’t unemployed citizens and PRs who can fill the position.

It’s not the AINP, it’s the LMIA for high wage stream...applications were submitted in December 2018 and money for LMIA’s were taken January 2019.
