Does anyone know what the waiting time is for the Work Permit after receiving a positive LMIA?

Any other truck drivers waiting for LMIA’s to come through in Alberta? Been ongoing since December when employer submitted paperwork and still nothing yet?

It’s not the AINP, it’s the LMIA for high wage stream...applications were submitted in December 2018 and money for LMIA’s were taken January 2019.

I think it's just respectful to ask the other parent if you can take their child to live in another country. If they refuse or they are an absent parent then you can apply to a court to gain an order allowing you to remove a child from the jurisdiction.
