living in Quebec - I have questions..

My husband is a Canadian citizen, sponsoring me for PR and we live in Quebec..do we need to send our Sponsorship evaluation-IM5481 and application to sponsor, sponsorship application and undertaking-IM1344 to CPC?

on Guide 5289 - it says Sponsors living in Quebec do not need to complete the IM5481 and IM1344 forms.

which part of the forms we do not need to complete?

another part of the guide it says: If you live in Quebec, you must first send your application to the Case Processing Centre in Vegreville (CPC-V), and we will then forward it to the MICC. If your sponsorship application is approved, CPC-V will send you a letter telling you how to proceed with the MICC. If your sponsorship application is approved, CPC-V will send you a letter telling you how to proceed with the MICC. You must attach a copy of the letter to the undertaking application that you submit to the MICC. If you are sponsoring your spouse or common-law partner, you do not need to demonstrate your financial ability to comply with the sponsorship undertaking..

which forms goes to where? please explain..

First of all, your whole post depends on whether you want to file inland or outland. The things you mention are actually so for people applying inland rather than outland, so I'd have to know which of these you will be doing to answer your questions. If you're applying outland, you need to complete IMM1344. You do not need to complete IMM5481, because, if you look at the instructions for that particular form, it says, "Sponsors living in Quebec need not complete this form."

IMM5289 is for sponsoring a member of the Family Class in-country. If you are planning on doing an outland application rather than an inland one, you should not refer to this guide.

You have to look at the individual forms to see if you require them. If you are not in a common-law union, you would not fill out that declaration for example. If you are not using a representative, you would not fill out the form for that.

Yes, if you were doing an INLAND application, you would send the entire application to Vegreville, Alberta. If you were doing an OUTLAND application, you would send it to the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. In each case you would apply with the Ministere de l'Immigration et des Communautes Culturelles for the Certificat de Selection du Quebec, but only after you had been informed that the sponsorship portion of the application had been approved. The difference is that this takes close to a year for inland, 2 months for outland.
