Your relative needs to have either a 1 year experience as a nanny or a 6 month course. Nurses are often accepted without further experience or courses. You need to advertise the job for a certain length of time to prove that you could not find a Canadian or PR who wanted the job. You need to be offering market wage. You need to have a private room in your apartment/house for your live-in caregiver.
Once you get the labour market opinion approved, you send it to your live-in caregiver and that person needs to apply for a work permit, proving that they will not overstay in Canada.
