got an email from CEM today:

Dear Sir/Madam,

We wish to inform you that our office has now received the passport. The application is in the final stages of processing. We do not require any additional documentation at this time and will be in touch with the applicant directly, if necessary.

Although it is not possible for us at this time to commit to a specific timeframe for finalization, please rest assured that our office is processing this application diligently. Please note, it is advised that no travel plans be made by the applicant until our office has confirmed that travel documents are available.

umm, I'm not really excited about this response. last time may nalaman akong ganito reply, inabot ng 4 mos
meron bang ibang nakareceived ng ganito? ilang months/ weeks nyo nareceived passports after the interview ng LC1?

I have received the same email content from cem last January 21.. Unfortunately until now, no passport with visa coming from them. I got DM january 16.. Hopefully you will receive your passport with visa the soonest time. When will be the validity of your initial entry to Canada?

@aleakim , I also got the same exact response when I emailed them inquiring about the passports of my dependents.

Our case was DM last Jan 28, until now no passports were returned yet. Others received theirs at exactly 4 weeks after DM.

@dadalance_123 and @aleakim, where did you sent the passports of your dependants? CEM or VFS? Thank you.

Hoping and praying that they will release our passports the soonest.

that's why I'm upset with their reply. kayo un alam kong naka received ng ganitong email and yet, wala pa rin visa. wala atang nakareceived ng ganito at nagkaron ng mas mabilis na return ng passports eh.

Nag email po ba kayo sa kanila o basta lang nila sinend yung email sa inyo? Ako kase nag email ako sa kanila at yun yung na receive kong reply nila. After that, naka 3 emails pa ko pero hindi na sila sumagot ulit.

CEM ko po pinadala passport ko noong June 2014 pa. Na-amazed cguro sa passport ko kaya di nila maibalik-balik. Hahaha.. Hay naku po. Dinadaan na lng sa tawa ang frustration! CEM maawa naman kayo sa amin. Lumagay naman sana kayo sa lugar namin para alam nyo kung anong pakiramdam ng ganito.

April 21 po validity ng initial entry ko. Kung kelan nila ibalik passport ko at my time pa mgrenew, renew ko po. Pero pg gahol na sa time, jan na lng po ako mgrenew. No choice na po ako. Sinabi ko rin sa email ko sa cem ang tungkol sa passport na mlpit na maexpire, pero sabi nila, pgkatanggap ko ng passport with visa, irenew ko. Kaso wala p nman sila binabalik. Pero sabi sa CFO, ok lng daw mgtravel khit paexpire na ang passport bsta travel na bgo maexpire ang visa.

same tau ng sentiment 6weeks na waiting LC1 ko vancouver din pero may mga kasama tau dito ambilis interview nila hayzz buhay..problem is expiring na din working visa ko abroad by july so kelangan ko talaga passport ko before july para makauwi ako pinas, tnt labas ko nito pg 5 to 6months waiting. I emailed na CEM pero final stage daw eh wala pa naman interview LC1then call na din LC1 ko call center pero wala din..try to call this week ulit LC1ko kasi ako talaga gahol na sa oras.
