Meron pa bang ibang early 2011 applicant aside from me, roxaida and i think honeysweetie who did'nt recieve ppr/interview sched yet? Just curious, i called cic again today and the agent was not very helpful ascually he sound so sarcastic, and all he could say is that he does'nt have an answer to my querry and he can't guarantee anything, this is really super frustrating, whe everybody else is getting ppr for lc2... Here i am waiting for such a long time

Im in Ottawa..We are slower here I believe. And I'm scared! My friend received PPR 4 months ago and up to this time, there's no interview yet???I hope mine will not take that long coz I am soooo done waiting!!as in D-O-N-E! >:(

I do feel everybody's frustration. It's always been a guessing and waiting game. I have read some of your comments and the validity of your dependant's visa and mine is just one day apart. I will be having my interview on Feb 4. But I believe after that it will take 4-6 weeks or more before the PR card arrives. My another concern is my dependant's visa expiring April 9 and need to go and pick her up. But the COPR can't be use to travel. Anyone here who have a friend who tried the PRTD ( Permanent Residence Travel Document) and how long does it wil take to process in the Philippines? Where ? How much?

Anyone here who have ideas ? Your thoughts on this matter will be very appreciated. Thanks in advance forum mates. You are all helpful in so many ways.

Don't worry regarding the visa validity on your Approval letter..Yung friend ko po Jan.6,2015 and validity na binigay sa approval letter nia until June 6 nmn po binigay na visa ng validity ng dependant nia..I think the validity on your approval is base on your work permit expiration date...Congrats

Hi Inday07,correct me if I am wrong but as far as I understand, the 4-6weeks time that was indicated in the email pertains to the time they could send back the PASSPORT of our dependant/s in the Philippines, with their visa in it..Our PR card will not take that long though, only 19 days after the interview, for some.I am not sure if some had shorter.Good for you, your interview is scheduled already..

As long as you had interviewed already. You can get a travel doc. Idownload mo na dito ang mga dics needed para pagdating monpinas you just call them and thru currier din 1 wk lng ung sa friend ko. May binibigay na papers nung interview andun ung site na kung san ka kukuha travel doc kasi ang COPR is not a valid travel doc

Hi everyone,

May I ask po for the applicants from Vancouver if they can share to me their time line from getting the Approval letter/PPR up to the time of getting the Interview Schedule? I know it's not the same for everyone but I just want some kind of a basis of what is going on. My husband in the Philippines has a pending Spousal Open Work Permit Application on process at CEM because we are not expecting PR approval to come soon. That's why we decided for him to apply a Spousal work permit before getting our PR application approved. I have also booked all my travel plans and a 3 week vacation leave from work just got approved. Now Im in the middle of this confusion. I know that PR interview in Local CIC office will have to be my priority, but I just want to have an idea with the timeline and see if I can still work around with the schedules that I already arranged.

Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

My Timeline:
Application for PR/OWP - May 2012
OWP Approved- July 2012
AIP Email - Dec 2013
Addtional Documents Requested - May 2014
Medical Request/Submitted November 2014
LC1 Approved/LC2 PPR - Jan 23 2015
