@alfoxtrot, better check with your airline.some airlines allow you to carry just 1 check-in baggage(23 kg) air canada is among them.

Hi Everyone,

PLEASE HELP!!

I received a letter from CEM Last March 11, 2013 informing us that they are going to examine me and my daughter and gave 60 days to comply. I replied immediately with the information requested via their email address(manila-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca), but until now they haven't yet send our LC2 Immigration Forms Kit. It is almost more than 10 months now, AND NO LC2 KIT YET. I emailed CEM thrice but they only sent confirmation of receipt of my email, and nothing else. I wrote CEM last February 5, 2014 and mailed it through LBC explaining our predicament and requesting for the LC2 Kit Forms. No reply until now. Please enlighten and share me your ideas. WE ARE VERY WORRIED!! My wife is almost more than five (5) years already in Canada, and my daughter is always asking when are we going to be with her mom!!!

Our Timeline:

CIC application: February 2, 2011.
CIC started processing: March 16, 2011.
OWP: December 2011
Decision has been made and you will be contacted.

Please, anyone who can share me your wisdom on this.

tell your wife to contact the MP of her place of residence asap and inform them of the undue delay of your pr application. the MP will then initiate an inquiry in your wife's behalf to CIC/CPC/CEM and inform her of developments thereafter. good luck

hi hows everyone.. i just want to ask if whats the exact content of the MR ? i rcv an email i guess its the medical referral already but i need to be sure and i wnt to clarify thats why i want some help from you just to make sure.. please help me thank you..

another thing is they send me 4 emails/mr i guess and then only me and my father is here in phil my other 2 siblings are already in canada under lcp.. what should i do or what should we do? as far as i remember i didnt include them in my fathers dependent because they are over 22 already thats why im confused why they are given mr.

Meron back dito nakakaalam paano ire renew ang open work permit kc magic expired na ang open work permit ko may 2014.hanggang ngayon wala pa rin nataganggap ang anak ko na application kit from.cem..tapos magi expired na open work permit ko...tanong ko lang kung ano requirements for renewal of open work permit at saan isi send yung application forms.thanks.

Valid passport, existing open work permit, photo id, and the filled up form which you can download from the website. And of course you need to pay $150 .

today I called cic Canada coz im wondering whats goin on with my sponsorship.. because its almost a year since I received this first stage and my daughter hasn't received a application kit..and she answered me the they already notify manila cic the date I received the letter...and she says it is really depends on the processing time in the Philippines....hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhayyyyyyyyyyyyy naku! this will take forever...I emailed them 5 x now until now I don't received any response.....is anybody here have the same problem as mine...

Sa mga nag PPR, kailangan bang ipadala ang bagyong passport( dark maroon)? Naka-highlight kasi sa email nil ang ipinadala sa LC2 ko na strongly recommended. Any inputs guys? Nag-alanganin kasi akong ipakuha pa sila ng pano aging passport gating hindi pa naman expire ang existing passport nila.
