Hi Ynahvie,
I didnt do any medical in canada. But my ECAS said medical has been received so I presumed were exempt already since we had a medical before we arrive in canada. I havent submitted any finger printing on my PR application before because they told me I dont have to unless they asked for it. I came from saudi arabia so I guess its complicated. Anyhow, I did sent one already when they requested it on the letter saying "decision is made". I phone CIC the other day and they cant tell me. They said when first approval is done. Have to wait 12 months. Actually I am more confused than ever. I thought I am just waiting for interview. Hope someone could help me understand whats going on.

Hello sugarspice you also came from Saudi Arabia before coming here in Canada? Did you submit a latest police clearance from Saudi Arabia? How did you get it? Can you please tell me how to process and get a latest police clearance in Saudi Arabia? I would really appreciate it.
I already received an email from CPCV yesterday that I am already eligible for PR and blah blah but I'm just wondering they might ask a latest police clearance from Saudi Arabia.
Any latest news from your PR apps?

Hi everyone! i got a question for those who have already got first stage of approval..: How fast you received a letter of approval by mail after email from CIC.. i got email and was hoping to get a real letter soon after that, but its been 2 weeks and nothing yet.. Thanks

I got the first stage approval in August through email and never got the real letter, I don't think it's a big deal.
By the way, I haven't seen much good news happening since imm minister announced the increase for lcp in October.

And after 9 days, received another letter said my Landing Interview was scheduled in Jan 2014
