Live-in Caregiver PR application sent in 2011 timeline, Welcome...

Hello everyone.i'm new on the forum, my wife which is on live-in caregiver program has already got the first approval for obtaining Permanent Residence in Canada which is the open working permit last dec. 2011,?
now its been almost 3 months but we don't have application kit yet...

. im just a newbie here,, im under LCP.. i passed my application last Dec 2011 for my OWP and PR.. my problem is i didnt know if they receive my application because i am calling. 127 and what it say is its about my past application and thats for may renewal before in my work permit it was 2010,and i try to check my status online and still its not there,,, does anybody have the same situation as me?

Hello all
Im going to send my OWP/PR application in 3 weeke but im now using any lawyer. I want to fill out the form for the OWP but i dont know which one to send? i found this one on this link but im not sure because it says that is an application outside canada.

On IMM 1249, "I AM APPLYING FOR" dont tick any box. Just write on top "OPEN WORK PERMIT".

wer on the same boat i sent my application OWP/PR last December 31,2011 and CIC received last January 3,2012...until now no updates from them...i checked online but can't fine any updates. I phoned 127 its all about my old work permit apps.... lets keep on praying, hope we can receive our OWP very soon. Gudluck...

Depends really on whether your husband is one of the lucky ones who received the OWP without waiting for 18 months or one of the caregivers who have to wait for 18 months or more before they received their AIP and hence the OWP. When did your husband submit his PR app?
