^ where do you do digital fingerprinting? Mine was ink.

I did it at COMMISSIONAIRES.

^ where are you from? Is it okay if i can have another set of fingerprinting, but digital this time? I mean, I already have mine through ink but i just learned that it's going to take like 4 months before you receive any result from rcmp?

Toronto... It only takes 72 hours to be mailed. and receive it in a week.

Guys,

Does anyone read the article in the newspaper yesterday? It's about "Immigration issues to take centre stage"

It focuses more on sponsoring parents, sister or brother of an Immigrant or citizen of Canada. But their main objective is "Ontario Immigrant groups are pleased that the speedy reunification of families by loved ones in Canada is being placed on the front burner by the Conservatives and NDP.

I just hope that they can include, us caregivers for this petition. Guys, I think we should contact Amy Casipullai, of the Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants. She's the one who's making this appeal possible for canadian families to bring their loved ones in Canada along with Ms. Olivia Chow, the NDP's immigration critic, she said that they will be pushing for quicker processing times.

Let's all pray and hope that LCP will be included...finger crossed *

The CIC started processing my application last feb this yr...but my employer is planning to release me sooner this yr and i know for sure by that time i don't have my OWP yet. i called the CIC and they said that my status would be "implied" if that happened...i can stay in canada legally but not allowed to work. i'm currently here in ontario but im planning to move in manitoba coz i have relatives there...can i move in any province i want without delaying the process of my application? is anyone here has the same situation? thanks!

I believe that you can move wherever you want. just let CIC know about your new home/mailing address. If you do not tell them, they would consider hiding information about you. in the webpage are the instruction how to let them know. (by mailing a letter and/or online, not sure). good luck!
