Live-in caregiver PR applicants for April,May and June timeline

Maybe somebody knows.......can I apply for a new work permit if I applied for PR and an open work permit for the same employer?

I think we'd better renew our workpermit no matter if we need to change our employers ,because we see lots of problems when in the implied status.

i have tried 2 apply new work permit last yr same employer but got denied. got a letter frm cic saying no action has been taken bcoz i hold an implied stat.i resend wp application last mar but this time with a letter from a representative. still waiting. i think applying new wp same employr while pr on process is great but its gunna b a thread in a needle

JUST talked with IMMIGRATION. I was told that even though I apllied for PR and an open work permit, I still can apply for a new work permit only if I am staying with the same employer.

Actually they're done with MARCH 2010 appl since FEB 2011, they just update it so that people may think thay they're moving forward...

It's hard for them to start the APRIL 2010 APPLICATIONS!!!

OMG... just now u can access ur file in ecas..really their unbelievable.

CIC is something else,even though they have started with April application ,they still cant move the update away from March. SOmebody who sent her application last April 2010 has decision made already.
