Hello everyone:
Just noted this update in my CIC online information.......

"We received your application for permanent residence on April 6, 2010.

We started processing your application on June 18, 2010.

Medical results have been received. (NEW)

A decision has been made and you will be contacted."(NEW)

Does anybody know how long it takes for CIC to contact you after a decision has been made??? I hope this is good news!!!! Please share your insight if you have received this as well??

Hi waiting agony, congrats on your update. When did u see the change in eCAS. My date is just 3 days after yours. Really hope they will get to it soon.

Sweetchad,

when checking the status of the application of your dependents in the philippines, just used the UCI number of your dependent's confirmation number when checking it thru cic ecas.type your dependent's family name ,birthdate and year and country,just like checking your own application status at ecas.

i have the same case with you i have that information in my application updates since last April 2011,i call cic customer service and the lady told me that they are waiting for my dependents application results, hopefully its a positive decision in our case otherwise they will not grant us an initial approval by granting us our open work permit.

Hi! Thanks for this info but I tried logging in using the UCI # but I can't continue. My depndant's UCI number starts with a letter followed by 10 digits # ( T0000000000 ) & their file # starts with XE followed by 9 digits #. Pls help me I want to update their application too...Thanks!

LC2 KIT Received from CEM : September 15,2010
LC2 KIT Sent to CEM : October 7,2010
OWP Approved : January 28,2011
LC2 additional requirements sent to CEM : February 11,2011
PR : Decision made since April 2011

I think my owp will be delayed than all of I guys.my husband didn't receive the LC2 yet.so the immigration didn't have that file yet.but I divorce my husband last April and I am expecting my divorce judgement this month.I already send a letter to the immigration about my divorce so that they will remove my husband from my application.but it took them 1-2 months to open a letter and to grant your request.I'm alwYs praying that everything will be fine.anybody here who has the same case as mine.?need an idea about this.

Maybe somebody knows.......can I apply for a new work permit if I applied for PR and an open work permit for the same employer?
