Monalyzy- you can try applying an extension of work permit but I want to give you a heads up. I tried applying for an extension and received a letter saying "No action is being taken to process your request for the following reason : you hold impose status with your open work permit request received at our office" it sucks because my msp expired and they will only grant you 3-6 months.

I meant implied.

Thank you. I went to CIC office at st.clair to ask what i should do but the lady told me to apply before my work permit expires nextweek ,then i called their office at vergreville bt the agent told me not to worry since i av an OWP in progress,so i'm kinda confused but thank you anyways for letting me know what the decision to make.

I reapplied again but with a representative, a letter from a lawyer/paralegal. But I have to wait, it's 118 days to process now for the same employer.

I reapplied again because I feel more secure to atleast have a permit on hand. Even when I phoned msp to renew my card after 6 months they won't do it because they don't consider that "implied status" is a valid status..

Monalizy, We have the same case.Mine will expire on the 30th of april.they also told me stay as it is.an implied status.

Good luck to everyone trying to reunite with their families. I hope it happens soon.

Also, I was wondering if there is anyone on the forum that is a healthcare professional (nurse, doctor, physiotherapist etc)

@RN- I am a physical therapist y RN?

Hey, Rosellyalung, have you got at least any response from those people you sent the letter to?
