I would like to believe the same but today he announce his 2012 immigration forecast that include how many he going to give PR Coming through each category.Like Skilled, Family class, Economy ,Nanny so I believe its not about how many live-in care giver visa/work permit but PR through the Live-in care giver category. In the other hand because of last year new rules of caregiver sponsorship few people able sponsor care givers in to Canada

Is this what you have heard in the cic call center automated system "A new document was been issued to you last OCTOBER 26,2011?" or You have called the cic call center agent and have been told you that they have sent your OWP last october 26,2011 because if you just heard it thru automated system sometimes it take weeks for cic vegerivelle to sent your OWP to you.

I can't hear it in the automated telephone system.I can see it on ecas that they sent my owp last oct. 26 and I confirmed it to CIC.even our MP called me that my owp is on the way.

Because of Phase 1 of Action Plan for Faster Family Reunification today, from tomarrow CIC wont accept any new applications on sponsored parents and grandparents, insted CIC wii release 9,500 more PRs to them starting at 2012 which means it could be ended up causing decreasing PRs on any categories assuming especially Refugees w/o knowing what category will be the next.

CIC is decreasing live in caregiver PR application and spousal and children.
This affects live in caregivers hugely.
Live in caregivers have nothing to do with family reunification which is parents and grandparents.

Our application for PR is there already...so means that they have to process it...

What they mean with those 9 thousands for LCP is for who is finishing the program and it's going to apply for PR. From dec 1st that this new law starts...means that if you didnt finish your program already, you will have to be between 9000 applications if you send and it's 9001 you will have to wait for the next year to be processed...

Is that? Please correct if I am wrong...lets discuss about it...

The targets also show that the business class will be reduced by about 3,500 while live-in caregivers will fall by 3,600. Spouses are expected to drop by about 4,000, but Immigration Canada does not have much control over that number and calls it a "projection" rather than a target.

Bad news, only means that we need to wait longer and longer. But at least they should have given us OWP earlier. It seems the immigration law changes everyday, nothing good for us.

Thanks God, I got my OWP today.
