what does kenney means? that besides from 24 months of employment under the program there are new sets of criteria in order to be given permanent residency?... this is ridiculous!!!

what will happen to the 2008 and 2009 batches of live-in caregivers? no assurance of PR? just because he say so? without any justifications...

There will be more skilled workers especially white-collar workers- as well as higher numbers of refugees, parents and grandparents, Kenney said after tabling his 2011 annual report.
But there will be FEWER SPOUSES AND DEPENDENT CHILDREN, AND FEWER LIVE-IN CAREGIVERS.
Kenney's report shows Ottawa wants to accept between 240,000 and 265,000 newcomers in 2012.

hi huys. Untill now im still waiting for the owp they sent to me last october 26, 2011.its not in our mailbox.Anybody knows if its possible to ask a copy of my owp in the local CIC office?I am afraid that the mailman delivered it in the wrong apartment.

@sweetchad, Check the CIC about it and check with them your address on file because it happened to my sister in law's PR card. It was send to the wrong apartment no. I hope your OWP wouldn't be the same because I think the CIC needs to received the returned document before sending you a new copy. It is another waiting if it happens...But I know you will get it today or Monday. Goodluck and Congratulations!

Is this what you have heard in the cic call center automated system "A new document was been issued to you last OCTOBER 26,2011?" or You have called the cic call center agent and have been told you that they have sent your OWP last october 26,2011 because if you just heard it thru automated system sometimes it take weeks for cic vegerivelle to sent your OWP to you.
