hi Im deira.. new to this forum just wonder I am aug applicant married with dependents..i just check cic hotline 127 ant it says work permit was approved dec 4... is it true or not,, so confused ..

Hi! I just tried now... It says " your application was received on may 10, 2010.
Your application for working permit has been approved.
A medical result has been received and your documents were sent on nov. 25, 2011."


So cheet ip! If you heard something like that when you called cic, that means wait for 5 business days and it's a "merry xmas for you!"

but my e-cas doesnt change still in process.. i also have a missed call earlier i was out so my aunt got it.. agent said my passport was expired... but didnt say anything about opw,, then i saw this thread and try that 127 thing and that was i heard from the voice record it was approved today dec 4... is it possible..

I ALSO CALLED JUST NOW -THIS IS WHAT THE RECORDING SAID:

"Your application was received on June 24, 2010. Your application for work permit has been approved and the document has been issued on Dec 4, 2011"

I'M SO EXCITED!!! My ecas hasn't been updated yet... ;D

@ deira.. CONGRATULATIONS if you were approved as what you heard on the hotline of CIC!
Do you have your new passport? If the CIC have the copy of your passport but expired now, so you need to send them a new copy of your passport. It is possible also to send them thru fax.

GUYS!!! My friend, an October 2010 applicant (married), check hers today and she also got it as of Dec 3!!! Woohoo!!!

molo,,, hi actuali a already forwarded my new passport last april 2011.. and just last month i called and confirmed that they have received it... thats why so confused why they ask my passport again,,, for sure tom i will call them or fax it again,,,, thanks... i just hope and pray that this is for real..

@ deira.. thats okey if you sent one already last April, you don't have proof that they recieved it. So it is hard to argue with them if they want you to send another copy for them. You can call tomorrow and tell them that if they can call you when they recieve a copy after you faxed to CIC.

CIC is working this weekend to decrease our backlog.

They are not following any order, but at least they are working.

Outlook any news from your daughter? I hope she is fine and I really hope you get your papers this week.
