Thanks for your concern on my application! Actually, calling that agency is the most I hate to do, because I'm just wasting my time on the phone waiting for an agent to pick-up my call, and the same answer I got on ecas!

@molo5000 i didnt even talk to an agent its a voice recorder that i heared,you are right about the agents they will just give you frustration dont worry your turn is up soon cheer up man

Thanks ebonyivory i just got relieve when i here the voice message i was so desperate to learn anything about my application coz it still say in process so i call cic hotline press 1 2 7 then enter my client id number then my date of birth and it said my application for a work permit has been approve and the documents was issued dec 2nd 2011 im really really happy

So happy for you Shelleonn! I believe CIC is quiet busy to release OWPs as much as they can this month for the behind applicants and with dependants.

You are right ebonyIvory,i even went to an mp for help yesterday,i was really worried about my application and seeing many may applicants here got decision made gave me a whole world of pressure im just thanking god for answering my prayers

@ Shelleonn.. As they almost finished the decision on the month of May applicants, I knew they can't hold more my application, ..for another year.. ;D ;D ;D

hello guys. i went to the information session with the CIC agent from montreal. hes name is Mr. Vu Cao. anyways he told us honestly the processing is really longer and slow.

he just pointed out 3 thing before we start asking questions.

1. if your single dont marry a refugee. it might jeopardized you PR application.
2. you can still submit your PR application even you exceed 4 yrs stay in Canada as long as you finished your 24 months or 3900 hr within 4 years.
3. seek MP help if you need assistance in your application, its a law that immigration officer should reply in 10 days.

he also mention that many applicants from Philippines are married but already separated from their husband/wife. since we dont have a divorce in Philippines. when you stay here after 12 months you can file a divorce so when you submit PR you no longer included your husband/wife as a family member.

hope this might enlighten some issues.

I told you before when you ask me about May 2010 applicants but yet you keep on worrying about your application but anyway i am happy for you.. i told you already that CIC will make finalization of all May 2010 applicants this December.next year they are trying to reduced the processing time into single digit. hope everything will push through..as they will limit the enrty and issuing of working permit to all new LIC applicants that wish to work here in Canada to give way and reduced the processing time of 1st stage approval (OWP) and PR to all LIC applicants of 2009 and up.

I just heard something new from the CIC' voice massage.
It said we are currently assessing your application and we anticipate to give you a response by.....date.
What does it mean? as you know i wont get LC2 kit.
