Live-in caregiver PR applicants for April,May and June timeline

Omg first stage approval 19 months now! What can we do about this? Its not being fair it keeps climbing up.... are we jus going to sit and watch them?

Oh dear....I thought they're going to get rid of the backlog-stopping the application for grandparents and parents which IMO is good since family reunification should be the immediate family only not the oldies which doesnt help the economy. Sorry grannys.....but they should take into consideration the workers who've been contributing tax and in the economy.

If they update it because they are so unpredictable we have to see it to believe,then how about the june july august with dependants are they gonna wait for next year?hopefully not so we can have a nice christmas

Yeah really frustrating but atleast they move by 5days when do you pass you application?

i submitted mine october 2010. i am single with dependent. they froze the processing that is why they have backlog now... very slow processing and they are doing it on purpose... it seems that they really refuse to process our papers on time... its so obvious!

when i signed the contract PR is just 1 year processing... so much time are wasted... i believe this is one kind of abuse to us... the processing times won't stop adding up....

Yeah it wont stop anytime soon they must "LOVE" us that much they can't release us as caregivers coz there are fewer caregivers coming to canada coz they refuse a lot of application

@ boyzone hi can you pls do us a favor?can you pls ask the visa officer again if its possible for may 2010 applicants with dependants to recieve first stage approval/owp by the end of this year?they add another month to it now its 19 mos thanks man will really appreciate it

So confusing!!!! they are working on april 25, 2010 applicants how come some june, july, august, september applicants received their opw/pr already? What might be the ruling??? I am happy to those who had their opw/pr, somehow believing that these whole processing is possible and by the time being we all be granted. But the accuracy of their posting is not realistic. We are on the month as the processing is concern hoping our application will be touch, thereon requesting more info! Might as well done prior posting it on ecas.
