Linking online account

Hi, I sent my inland common law sponsorship and OWP paperwork off on Wednesday last week and it was recieved on Thursday 18th August. So I'm wondering how long it usually takes for any of the info to be uploaded on the cic systems so that I can link this application to my online account?
Also how long should it take to get my OWP? Will it just arrive in the mail? What is the next step from the cic that I'm waiting for now?

You should wait till the sponsor receives an email from IRCC/CIC acknowledging that they have received your application package. This is the next step and is called AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt). Going by the current standards, it should take around 21 days from the time your courier delivered the package to CPC Mississauga for the sponsor to receive an AOR.

OWP takes around 120 days (4 months).

So I got my AOR in an email today! Still can't link my account though. Does it take a certain amount of time for me to be able to link?

Hello all,

I am in the same boat here.

My sponsor received the AOR email a week ago and I still cannot link my PR application or check on OWP.

Is there a a secret to it?
