If you make a MyCIC for the sponsor if you tried with PA you would have another 5 attempts.

Or vice versa.

I still think it needs to be the PA's account though.

It doesn't make a difference that the PAs MyCIC account already has a TRV application there from when we applied? That wouldn't be the reason for us not being able to link the accounts now?

can I use the same mycic account because already my online TRV application is in process????or I need to create new one for link my permanent residency application???
you can link any application. you can create a new account with any email you don't have to be a sponsor or PA to link an application as long as you have all required details . The good thing is you can update all of your applications for all notifications to be sent to one email

No. My wife has a refused TRV/Study Permit application on the same account. It's directly below the PR app in the submitted applications chart.

There is also another TRV application that we are working on and having submitted yet in the other chart.

So we have 2 accompanying dependents as well as 2 non accompanying dependents. Our family size is six according to the notes we ordered I put that in when linking but i am having trouble linking the app. so frustrating.

I honestly cannot figure out then why it wasn't linking. The only thing I didn't try was the PA's details on my MyCIC account, but I don't think that would have made a difference.

Did you get a confirmation auto generated email response?

I sent SVO a CSE the other day and never got any email acknowledging that they recieved it, but I did get one the first time I sent a CSE to them awhile ago.

Actually, I didn't.

I remember the last time when I had to submit some additional information like change of workplace etc. I got an email confirmation right away.

There is no PA or SPONSOR when linking application, anyone can link your application. Create an other account(maybe with your spouse's email or any other email) and link it( correct what you think are mistakes, like number of family members( minimum is 2), then you will update on which email you prefer to receive the notifications for all of your applications

It's fine to create a new MyCIC account to try and link again?

The PA and sponsor for us both have accounts which are now locked out because it's not linking.

If you have GCMS notes I suggest looking at the client details on around page 3.

Some items like city of birth or intended city of residence etc could be different from what you were expecting. So I definitely would advise anyone with GCMS notes to double check if they get an error.

Mine went through the very first time I tried with the corrected information.

Do you have another email address?

I feel like it will lock you out after a certain number of attempts with that particular application regardless of how many accounts are made.

No. the limit is only for one account, if you have 5 accounts so you have 25 attempts.

I feel like they have a contingency plan on that, I doubt they want us trying to link an application say 50 times (if both sides had 5 email addresses, which isn't actually that unreasonable these days).
