I have been trying to link my permanent resident application with 0 results. It only says application can’t be found.... I have tried multiple combinations putting in the application number and the date of birth but has yielded no results...

After many attempts, we finally linked ours.

The combo I used, that worked was this,

App number
Last name of principal applicant

Left birth town/country as it was. Didn't fill anything there, it says required but you will be okay to leave it.

I put passport details as they are.

Then town and province as per how we did it in the application.

Then what really was my mistake was that I put married because it's a spousal app. BUT I finally put it as SINGLE and that's what got it linked.

And of course put 2 or however many people are involved in your app. And I believe you need to include your representation in this number as well if you used.

Hope this helps I not their is a discussion with many other suggestions and different combinations to try

In my profile signature there is a linked spreadsheet. In the spreadsheet there is a tab "linking myCIC". Give those suggestions a try.
