Mr. Justin Trudeau has posted in FB "Minister Mr. John McCallum has announced that a new cabinet will be the driving force in helping sponsor 25,000 refugees from the crisis in Syria. We remain committed to this goal."
What about CIC's commitment of processing CEC applications?
Seems like Politicians are same in all the countries!!!

Despite the long wait and frustration I still think that we are in a better position than many, many foreign workers who are approaching the 4 year limit and unable to qualify for EE are getting ready to go home, quite a bit of folks in the EE pool are awaiting an ITA, thousands of folks internationally are trying their absolute best to get into Canada... Hang in there buddy out turn will come.

Click NO for the question "Was this answer useful?" and give your feed back.

Will let them know our pain in all the possible ways. We are not going to loose anything by protesting in these ways.
Following are the easy ways you can let them know your situation:
1. CIC has account in Face book and updating their activities on daily basis. I have seen the Admin has responded to some silly questions in the comments. Post your comments related to Pre jan 2015 CEC Applications. I have not seen a single post so far in favor of Pre jan 2015 CEC Applications. I have posted few but no response so far. We need posts from more people.
2. Send Email to Minister John McCallum
3. Send email to your Local MP
4. Send message in twitter to Minister and Local MP.

Hi all,

I too have written a letter and today I made an appointment to speak to a representative at the office of my local MP.

I personally think there is strength in numbers so we should try and come up with a way of making our complaint as a group.

My partner and I have been waiting 13 months, meanwhile numerous people have applied for and received their PR under the new system within this time frame. Regardless of the fact that they are operating on skeleton staff, the Canadian government are failing to treat us all equally under the law.

Please let me know if you have any ideas on a fresh group approach to this matter.

im not sure what they can help with other than the information we can get ourselves by calling cic though..........

I recieved this email from Libiral party. It is mot very helpful though!

Thank you for your 22 October email.
We apologize for the delay in responding but while it has been a very successful time, it has obviously been a very busy time.

Unfortunately, we cannot directly help you as we are only a political administrative office. We urge you to contact your local Member of Parliament (MP) for his or her assistance. Your local MP’s constituency office provides non-partisan help for Canadians dealing with the federal government. You can find your local MP at: http://www.parl.gc.ca/Parlinfo/Compilations/HouseofCommons/MemberByPostalCode.aspx?Menu=HOC .

Our government will establish new performance standards for federal services, including streamlining applications, reducing wait times and offering money-back guarantees. We recognize Canadians deserve better service from their government. Performance will be independently assessed and publicly reported. We will start with services hardest hit by years of cuts by the former Conservative government: employment insurance (EI), veterans’ services and immigration, including EI and pension appeals.

Thank you again for your email. We hope we can earn your trust and support to allow us to give Canadians the much better government they deserve.

Best regards,
