Letters of Support: What to do?

Hello everyone,

My wife and I are having an issue obtaining letters of support for her. She doesn't have much contact with her family so they're not a means. She's unable to contact any of her friends or they do not wish to write a letter for her. What could we do in this situation as we are unsure of alternative people to ask for a letter of support, who would have witnessed our relationship over the years. Besides my family.

If anyone has any idea of what we could do it would be much appreciated. Sorry for all the questions but we do appreciate all the help.

Try co-workers, employers, landlords. If her friends / family are unwilling to write a letter of support, maybe you can include that as part of your own letter that you both write.

Letter of support is not necessary though

I got approved with out any letter of support.

Since you are married, support letters are not necessary. If you have a lot of other evidence your relationship is genuine, you don't need them. If you do want some, one from your family and one from a landlord or neighbor would be OK.

We included only one letter. It was from a man who owns a restaurant that we had our very first date at.
His restaurant was actually two doors down from my wife's mother's home, so he knew her very well, and had
met me some years before. He also runs an English language school where my wife has been studying so we also
included copies of the payment receipts (with both our names on it) from his course.
My wife's visa was approved after only 4 months, and this was in Brazil.
