Hi Seniors,

Facts are: I am a PR living in Canada. My wife is in India. I want to apply for her sponsorship to get a permanent residency.

There are many issues to be addressed/brought to the notice of IRCC which either concern my wife (principal applicant) or myself (sponsor).

Can I use Letter of Explanation for issues in Spousal Visa file too…I mean is this tool allowed just like in PR application ?

If YES then:

Do we have to prepare two separate Letters of Explanation ? .i.e one from my wife’s (principal applicant) side and other one from myself (sponsor) ?

OR

Does it have to be a single LOE addressing all the concerns for both us and signed by both of us jointly?

Regards

Either one of you may sign. There are no formal rules for these letters as far as I'm aware. So just use your judgment.
