Letter of Explanation

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for some tips on how to write a convincing letter of explanation for a Study Permit. I have sought legal help from an immigration professional on this matter, but they are very costly (C$1,500); ergo, I decided to write it myself.

I have been refused a tourist visa about 3 years ago, and I do not know if I need to address the concerns that are in the refusal letter as it's a different type of visa application. Also, the reasons are superficial and are barely to the point, and I do not have the CAIPS/GCMS notes to know the exact reasons for the refusal.

you just need to clarify your intentions to study abroad. write about yourself, your educational background, work experience if any and try to co-relate it with your proposed course of study. Also mention about your college where you are going to study like why you are choosing that college only? why Canada only? Your future plans, your language ability and last but not the least write about your main intention. You have to mention that you will come back once you complete your studies.
