Hello dear ,
I got refusal today . I applied second time.
Officer mentioned that i have low language score.
I have overall 6.5 with 5.5 in reading. Should i reapply?
i met the college requirement but visa officer is not satisfied.
Retake IELTS and achieve a higher score. You don't just have to meet the college requirements. You also have to satisfy IRCC that your language skills are strong enough.
If you reapply with your current score then you should be expecting another refusal.

- Given the applicant's previous education and/or employment history, I am not satisfied that the motivation to pursue this particular program at this point in time in Canada is reasonable. Refused under R216(1)(b).

The sole purpose of my coming to Canada is to study. Hailing from a Liberian background, my family comprises six members which includes my father, mother, half-sisters, half-brother and me. My mother is working with APM terminal Liberia LTD. Her employment ID is attached for your reference. She is also an owner of Red Housing construction company. Her business article of incorporation, business registry document, tax receipt and clearance are attached for your reference. My father works with the United Nations World Food Program. His employment ID attached for your reference. My younger siblings are currently in secondary school.
I have been blessed with the opportunity to further my studies out of Liberia. As mentioned earlier, Liberia is a small country with few good academic institutions. Thus, limiting students to continue their studies in areas such as Supply Chain Management. I have always been a curious student since I was a child. My interest in science continues to grow as I progress in my educational journey. Although science is my favorite subject, I have always been open to expanding my knowledge in other fields of studies. After completing high school in Liberia, I chose to study science in university. I got accepted at Mohammed V University Rabat, Morocco to pursue a bachelor of science in Geology. Copy of my Bachelor of Science degree and transcript is attached for your reference. After completing my undergraduate degree, I travelled to Italy to pursue a Master of Science in Petroleum and Mining Engineering. Copy of my Master of Science degree and transcript is attached for your reference. My previous education equipped me with sound technical and analytical skills through extensive classroom learning and project works. When I was doing my master program, I worked one year as a part-time sorting agent in Randstad Italia S.p.A, a logistic company located in Turin, Italy. Payslips documents have been attached for your reference. This job redefined my professional career. My interest in Supply Chain Management increases as I gain meaningful skills in this field while working as a sorting agent . Unfortunately, my job with Randstad Italia S.p.A was terminated on February 25, 2020 due to the closure of businesses caused by the coronavirus pandemic. After completing my studies on May 4, 2021, I returned to Liberia and got a job as a Purchasing agent in Brown's Truckling and Handling services enterprise. A copy of the letter from my current employer in Liberia is attached for your reference. I have been working as a Purchasing agent in Brown's Truckling and Handling services enterprise since May 10, 2021. I have learned a lot doing different projects and tasks that come my way. Now, I wish to earn a graduate certificate to enhance my knowledge in Supply Chain Management and Logistics. This will allow me to develop a better growth trajectory and create the opportunity to start my own business in the Supply Chain Management industry in Liberia. The Government of Liberia is also providing a good opportunity for start-ups with its post COVID-19 pandemic recovery plan. On June 1, 2021, APM Terminals Liberia Ltd, an international container terminal operating company involved in supply chain management and logistics operation, hosted a career fair. The company suggested that individuals with a combination of engineering and supply chain Management knowledge is a perfect fit for jobs in this field. It was also noted that individuals with degrees or certificates from a reputable institution are most likely to be hired.

This profession is expected to grow by US$30.5 million. Supply chain management and logistics is likely to outperform the total job growth over the next decade, creating thousands of new positions in Liberia that pay highly-competitive wages. Therefore, Liberia needs trained and skilled workers in this sector to fill those new positions that will be created in the near future. Due to the huge scope of this program in every industry, I decided to pursue it for further study. After completing my higher education in Canada, I intend to return to my home country. I aspire to work in Liberia's top-rated multinational companies that are operating in the field of Supply Chain and logistics like APM Terminals, Maersk-line, Liberia Maritime Authority, etc. I am sure that the chosen degree program will help me improve on my personal and professional fronts and will make me capable of taking up better positions ahead in my home country. I will be equipped to take roles with more responsibilities and work in various domains within the supply chain industry. International education has a great value in Liberia. The skills and knowledge acquired from Fanshawe College will put me in the best position to get a good job as a supply chain coordinator, logistics manager, inventory controller, procurement manager/specialist, purchasing agent or buyer.
