Letter for citizenship test purple?

Hello, I received a purple letter inviting me to sit the test. My friends' letters were pink. Anybody else got a purple one? And if so, had you previously received and RQ? We had.

Yes I have 5 trips.That might be the reason I guess.

My letter was pink, had no RQ and my process was smooth sailing of 12 months.

I haven't been requested RQ so far, my test appt. is in 2 weeks in Mississauga.
My envelope was brownish and the letter inside is in white paper...

I got purple(RQ test date Jan 28,2014 Applied Oct 2012)
My wife got yellow(No rq test date feb 11, 2014.Applied Oct 2013.It took only 3 months to get the test date)
My son got white(test Jan 7,2014 Oath Jan 21, 2014. Applied October 2012)

If you didn't indicate preferred color of your choice for correspondence while filing the application, then you get a color of CIC's choice when corresponding. As long as they process!!!
