I just received a first email from CPCV today stating that I met the eligibility requirements to apply for permanent resident status as a Member of the Live-in Caregiver Class.

CIC received my application on Feb 4, 2013
First email from CPCV on Mar 6, 2014

AIP in just 13 months, by April, hope it would be down to 12 months so we can receive our AIPs after exactly one year.. By the end of the year, I wish they are able to issue AIPs in 6 months so our fellow LC1 and LC2s have more reasons to celebrate.. Thank you Lord..

green0407 seems likewe have the same timeline except for aip email...i mailed my application feb1,2013 and cic rcvd it feb4,2013. then ircvd email for aor feb18,2013. i hope i will get my aip this week,too! only that i'm married applicant...how about you? c",)

and guys i read on the other thread one got his/her landing interview last feb 17 and he /she met a filipina having a landing interview on the same day ..and that filipina sent application Feb 2013 ..... how lucky!!!!! so PR for just 1 yr !!!! ( for single though) ...but atleast .... really improving!!

Just want to ask if the status of your eCAS would change from "Application Received" to "In Process" once you received your AIP? Mine just says "Application Received".

Hi, @katrinaMichelle. No I didn't received yet my AIP. Sorry if it confused you. I'm just curious if you're status in eCAS will change or update once you received your AIP. I'm still hoping and praying that I will received it this April! I'm with dependents.
