No worries! Yes coz u have to submit police clearance from your home country as well but it should not be more than 3 months older when you apply and you can try to gather all documents in advance about 2months ago it would be easy and quick yet less stressful at the time when you will apply. When are you applying?

i will be 2 years in sept..but thinking to use the option 2 d 3900 hrs.i have 8.5 hrs a day in work so probably i can have d 3900 hrs ds july or august..

I've read from the other forum that some LC2 are now being transferred to Hongkong Office from CEM office and others are being transferred to Vegreville Canada.

oh really? i thought all papers are now going to process here in vegreville for lc2?? or i think maybe they are transferring those files to other offices so they can process it quickly as we now 90% of pr under lic are filipinos maybe they are now asking help from other offices to achieve their quota???

YES ;D ;D ;D I phone CIC just now and my Open Work permit got approved I'm so happy. They said its gonna be on my hand tue nxt week. yahoooo!!!! ...my timeline DEC 4 recieved PR and OWP..Feb 26 approved OWP.

hi mine I started to gather all my doc last Aug.first I renew my passport.if your passport only valid less than a year much better to renew first.then I got some form to consulate for NBI and send it to my home country it takes 4weeks to send it back to me my NBI,get another finger printing RCMP here to send it to HK police..I came there and stay for more than 1 yr that's why I need to get a police clearance.and some doc.are here like print out ,ROE if you have more than 1 employer before,letter of employment,hours of work and deduction,NOA.and your personal info.

My hubby sent his application april of 2013.. OWP granted aug 2013 and waiting for AIP.. Hopefully we receive it by June and it'll be the best bday gift ever..

question when u paid for ur fees what payment method did you use? i only have RBC virtual visa debit and im not sure if cic will accept it. do you guys have any views about it? thank u ^_^

@KatrinaMichelle we have the same timeline Yeah hoping and praying that we receive our AIP soon. Some have received their AIP after 1 yr of submitting their PR application.

@cg-ofw, you have dependents too? I really do hope they fast track the applications, including the LC2.. I've been working as a nurse in the Philippines for 5 years now and have not considered working in other countries since I'm already waiting for this. I hope I don't have to wait for two more agonizing years..
