Hi just share my time line .I pass my PR and OPEN work application Dec.1. . CIC received DEC.4. ...I got AOR last jan 9 ... hopefully more or less 3months expecting for OPEN WORK. any one same as mine ?

hello everyone ... i am may 23 2013 applicants i applied as single and i just came back from my vacation to the philippines and got married .. i just called cic and ask how to add on my spouse also i asked on what date are they processing now on PR applications under live in caregiver .. right now they are processing applications received on NOVEMBER 12, 2012... woahh that was fast the last time i checked they are only on april 2011 applicants last may 2013....maybe this is because of the speed up processing cic is now implementing to get their target or 17,500 live in caregivers will get their permanent residency this 2014 ...what a good neWS! and i also confirmed for those applicants with dependants back in your home country cic changed the processing that all dependants papers will now be process HERE IN CANADA... due to backlog of ppers in our home countries especially in the philippines... as i am reading on other threads some 2010 and 2011 applicants are not yet granted with pr becuse they are still waiting for the results of their LC2 applications back home ... so maybe to reduce the backlog cic changed it to process all the dependants here in canada and not in our home country .. i just forgot to ask if this will apply to everyone or just in later batch like us who will be granting future AIP ....lets hope and pray that this will work .. i already miss my husband all i want is for him to be with me here in canada... i hope all of us 2013 applicants will be included in 17,500 pr this year...GOD BLESS EVERYONE

thank you luckybymyside ... yahhh haysss im back last january 15... and i do really miss him now...but all we can do is to wait... ill just make myself buzy for work ...and hopefully they really push this new way of processing for lc2 papers here in canada, because Canadian Embassy in Manila is still working on applicants of 2010 and 2011 lc2 jeeezzzzz..... lets all pray ..CIC is on our side now

for january february 2013 applicants please share if you will get any goodnews ... .. yah sometimes i am in doubt if i did the right decision getting married because after AIP most single applicants got their letter for interview in weeks or a month ..but yah i am still happy with my decision atleast i will just add my spouse on my paper.. no more spousal sponsorship if i wait for my PR first.. hopefully it will just add some months for them to process my spouse papers..so we can get our pr at the same time. positive positive... ^_^ god will make way for us.

Hi there, I have a friend who is in her last 2 weeks before completing the 2 year live in caregiver requirement. She will now apply for OWP & PR and add her husband (they have no kids). Her Husband is here now visiting from Spain. (no Visa is needed from that country) Where do you get the application for the spouse for his part of the sponsorship. I only found on CIC website that he would be processed through his Visa office... but if he is living here in Vancouver... I am not sure what that means. I believe he only plans to cross the USA border for a weekend to gain another 6 months as he has a multiple entrance visa. How can I best help them?
I have recently sponsered my husband and have just recieved our second stage approval! I wish you all patience as you wait and know that eventually... this will all be a distant memory!! Thank God for SKYPE!!!! =)
