I'm trying to apply for TRV for pgwp and I'm facing some challenges with the questions. Confusing questions are:
1. what do u want to do in Canada? Work, Study, Visit. I chose work
2. what is your current immigration status? I chose worker

It gave me the following document checklist at the end:
1. Application for visitor visa (TRV) made outside of canada (IMM5257) required
2. proof of medical exam
3. Canadian work or study permit
4. Digital photo

The rest are optional.
Please, am I on the right track?

Vctrokoyeeducation,

Not exactly but you are almost there. In the questionnaire watch out for these questions.

a) Have you lived in a designated country or territory for more than six months in the last year?
b) Do you want to work in one of the following jobs?
c) Have you had a medical exam performed by a CIC authorized panel physician (doctor) within the last 12 months?

Your answers to the above questions should be NO. In that case you will avoid a proof of medical exam as a requirement.

The other requirement that is needed is a digital copy of your passport info. I hope that helps. Good luck.

Cheers!

Thanks.
I modified it and I have the following checklist.
1. Application for visitor visa (TRV) made outside of canada (IMM5257) required
2. Canadian work or study permit
3. Digital photo

But there is no provision for financial statement of account. Is it not required please?

Vctrokoyeeducation,

No its not required and that is why its not being asked for. You need:
1. IMM5257E
2. WP Copy
3. Digital photo
4. Passport Copy
5. $100 processing fee

Cheers!

Quick note:
Yesterday I have received another blank update (day 145, applied March 23rd).

Still no change in MyCIC account. Stay tuned, I hope that is a good sign.

I have been trying to upload my documents for TRV without success. I have tried many browsers including explorer but continued to get the following error message.

Sorry

Possible reasons::

Please any solution to the above error?

Vctrokoyeeducation,

The CIC website has a tendency of doing that at the critical moments that we need it the most. But lets see if we can help.
What is your computer brand; PC or MAC?
1. Also clear your browsers' history/cache.
2. Close your browser, then fire it up again.
3. Login to MyCIC and upload your docs.

If this doesn't work, then yes most probably you will need to wait maybe until Monday. If you can't upload your documents by then, please let us know.

Cheers!

Quick question:
I am assuming that the processing days are business days (mon to fri), correct? In this case, the list that is keeping track where people are saying for example "waiting as of day 99" is off then, right?

I guess at this point the processing time is irrelevant no matter how you count the days cause it keeps increasing! I simply stopped calculating cause it is frustrating. It'll come when it does!

Vctrokoyeeducation,

I have tried uploading a document. The upload was successful. Find sometime to try again today. Good luck.

Cheers!

Well for me it is relevant.

First of all, please add me to the list @jubear with the following info:
Applied on: May 13th 2015 (Paid full amount)
Blank update: Jun 12th, July 12th, Aug 10th, Aug 11th
Status: Waiting as of Aug 17 2015 (day 97)

Now, here's the problem that I have.
I had already secured a job prior to graduation. I was able to push my starting date to November 2015 because I am going back home for my wedding and also to account for the processing time delay. I already have tickets booked and will leave Canada at the end of September.
Right now, study permit is already expired and I am on implied status. So, I cannot FP. If this processing time keeps increasing, the wedding will have to be called off...

I hope all will work to your best. Hopefully you will get the PGWP early September, and the TRV precessing time is still reasonable, so that your wedding will be a double joy. All the best Nizolas. Sending you all the good vibes. And congrats on your wedding
