Did CIC explicitly say on your current PGWP that you could renew it once you get a new passport?

Yes, I meant the app copy you saved on your computer. And no, the submitted files are not accessible on CIC.

In your email also indicate your
1. Application Number
2. UCI Number
3. Document Number

Its important that CIC refers to your file using those 3 numbers.

I just checked all information in my form, My UCI number, MY passport Number, Name of my University, Dates etc. Apparently everything looks fine to me, and i think normally CIC rejects your case earlier if they find something is missing.
And yes i liked your suggestion of sending email to questin@cic. But i might wait a bit more ( 4 to 5 day) before sending an email to them.

Yes, I was about to say that wait until next week on Monday. See if other applicants on here that applied later after you have got approvals.

Why they said the same thing to you. They must have provided you with some reason. To me, they said, we have sent a message to upper heads and after message you have to wait 3 months. The decision can take up to 3 months but it can be made earlier than that as well.
Can you let us know, what reason they gave to you?

Also do you need LMIA if renewing PGWP? I only got 1 year as my passport was expiring.

You don't need LMIA. PGWP are open and are LMIA exempt.
You don't need a job offer to apply or renew in your case.

Follow the same process of applying for a PGWP.

You will need to write a letter of explanation that details your circumstance/reasons.

Address it to:

I have a theory to purpose, and want to see what you guys have to say about it.
As we all know, we are being asked to submit extra 100 $ fee, long after we submitted our applications. CIC asked to submit extra fee, after opening our application ( For example in my case on 20th May). Which means that they once processed my application and found that it is incomplete because of absence of extra fee submission.
My point is, if we think from software perspective, the software counts an application complete only when all its requirements are complete, and it starts the processing time from that particular date. So based on that, do you think we should assume that our application processing times start from the date we submitted our extra fee, and before that it was incomplete.
P.S. I know the fact that its not our mistake, but i am trying to think form computer software perspective.

Hello All,
I checked the status of my application online this morning and my status has been updated. It said my application was approved. I got no email from CIC though.....Not sure when it will arrive in the mail either. I plan to call them after lunch, that is if I can get through....

My online status has changed from submitted to approved... ;D ;D. Got email about status change as well.
Called CIC agent, she said it will take 3 weeks to get in the mail.

Congrats Cyas33, Do let us know what the CIC agent said to you about the mail delivery. They told me that it will take 3 weeks at most and 10 days at minimum.

jawadchoudary.....are you in Alberta? The time for the wp to reach you I think depends on your location. I hope to get it by Friday or next Wednesday the latest. I have decided to take up employment with the government of manitoba and need it to start on July 6th. I hope to god |I get it in time. I have to drive out there on the 3rd. YukiYuki keep praying it will come soon. congrats jawadchoudary.....

Yup, i am in Calgary, Alberta. It might possible that i will get it this week or by the end of next week. I just wanted to share , what the call center agent told me. They are not always correct... .
I hope that you get PGWP ASAP, so you can go and join in Manitoba.

they updated the processing time again. Add 7 days again. 89 days. It's going to be 7 days more for every week. So sad.
