hello I am new year..it's my 1year and 7months but I find it hard to find employer for me..I already applied in agency..it's been 6months but I don't have any feedback yet so if you please to help me where I could post reference link.. thanks! and by the way, I heard that it's hard now to cross country from hk to Canada so let me know your experience I will be delightful to read them, starting from getting the LMIA to the process of visa if when will they need medical and police clearance..

Hello all, I've been lurking on this thread for some time and kept meaning to post my own timeline but never got round to it.

I've had my PGWP approved last week and so wanted to share my timeline....first of all though, I applied after a lot of people on this forum who still haven't had theirs and I had it approved inside the timescales set out on the CIC site. I really don't understand exactly how they are processing these things but start to wonder how else they may be ordering them.....perhaps by nationality, by age, or something else. There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason to how they process them to suggest that it is not simply chronologically by when they receive them....I'd love to get the 'inside story' from someone who works for them!

Anyway, my (completed) timeline is:
Applied: June 16th, full amount paid ($255), online submission
Blank Updates: July 17th, August 18th, then I got two w/c 24th August
Approved: I got the email to say my account had been updated on 1st Sep, when I logged in it showed as status 'Approved' and there was a new message in my account which was the approval letter (this was dated 31st Aug).
Received: When the permit actually arrived in the post on 4th Sep, the date of issue was 28th Aug.


Anyway, good luck to all those who haven't got it yet...it's on its way I'm sure!

It seems they have been working on Late may Early june applications this last week. hopefully they go back to April and early May applicants this coming week.

Really fed up with the PGWP process..

Whome should we approach to get WP.. It's really frustrating to wait beyond mentioned time.

have job offer but employer lets me in only if I show him WP.. OMG.! It's like a disaster..

Fee: 155+100 on same day while submitting the application
Blank updates: june 6, july 6,july 23,july 31,aug 5, sept 4 (donno how many more i'm gonna get)

I have also applied for PGWP on May 10th.
Paid only $155 as asked by system.
paid $100 through CSE on September 7th.
Blank updates monthly- No real updates since confirmation on May 10
Contact from CIC regarding extra fees -$100 [8Sept] -> Paid within half an hour same day 8 sept

There are no updates on my application. I just want to update you guys on my status. I haven't received an approval just yet even though I applied on May 5th. If I do get it in the next couple of days I'll keep you guys updated. Here is my timeline:
