Hey all,

What would be the first thing you will do/try once arrived to Canada.

For me, I want to visit the Canadian museum for humain rights ;D

Go straight to Alberta or the Rockies. Order poutine. Go driving and looking for bears. Order a double double at Tim Hortons.

I've done these things. It'll be the first thing I do again when I get back there.

Well, first thing that we outlands will do upon arriving to Canada is the interview with the immigration officer on airport or on border crossing.

But first thing I would enjoy to do there is like visiting Niagara falls.

Yeah. I can't wait..
Best part is that you can view them from pretty much all the provinces.
If I end up in Ontario, if my OINP application is successful, that's what i'll be doing the first week.

Another nice thing would be buy a telescope, and live in a house a bit outside city...
that'll just be a dream come true

Northern lights for me too.
A hockey game with Maple Leafs - official Toronto hockey team.
Camping in a national park for a few days.
Ski in Blue Mountain Resort.

Me too. It also makes my wait difficult. I have been waiting from April 2015.
Now it seems so close yet so far.

Anyway, my top of the list places to visit is northern lights. I can't believe it's true.

Yup, after we had to leave in Jan 2015 I've been in the EE pool!

Canada isn't perfect, but trust me, it is an awesome country.

Those who are waiting to see northern light, trust me it will leave your "first priority things to do" list once you land in Canada. It may take several years until you get to this point again... if ever... :-\

I can confirm that when I first landed it was a week before we saw the northern lights - we looked out our window, saw them, and drove to a dark lake.

You're a bit of a grumpy guss, aren't you?
