Hi, I have a friend who received MEDICAL request. She said the immigration asked her to do medical. But when she showed me the letter I think she was confuse by the last sentence on the first paragraph stating that she and her family has to undergo medicals and background check. The next paragraph though is more detailed that it only requires her family in the Philippines to undergo medical. Is my interpretation correct? Thanks in advance for anyone who would answer.

Hi.. yes you are correct. Only her dependents in the Phils. will undergo medical.

Thank you for answering. My friend also has the same timeline as yours. So good luck with your families medical. She was just asked 30 days to submit her medical to CIC. How long is yours?

Hi everyone!
I am a single applicant with no dependents. i am wondering if i can include my parents and brother in my application or do they not qualify as "dependents" because they are not my spouse or child as per CIC's site definition of dependents? also, my employer does not provide any payslips. how should i prove the statement of earnings showing hours worked and deductions made by the employers? thank you and God bless!

No, you can't include your parents and brother as dependents they are already considered extended family and Canada only consider your spouse and children as dependents. You can later on sponsor them once you become permanent resident under the parental sponsorship if your brother is still a minor then they can also take him with them. As for the statement of earnings if your employer pays online then they won't have any receipt copies of your deductions I have the same situation so I just made a timesheet and the deductions that was made by my employer and then I asked her to sign it. I also called CRA for my option C which is almost the same as NOA. I just passed both just to be sure. I submitted mine last Feb and until now they haven't asked for additional papers. So good luck with your application. Hope this answers your question.

na confuse din ako sa sarili kong msg hehehe! Basta alam ko T4 at may isa pang document na may summary ng lahat ng deductions na kailangang i-pasa. Including total hours per month at yung salary received.

Ask ko pala, what if wala g payslip? Basta kasi ako binibigyan lang ng cheque every month. Hindi ko naman din phinotocpoy kaya wala ako copy...

Have you submitted already? i was wondering what you used in place of the payslips? i dont have payslips din po kasi. salamat!
